Strengthen and deepen basic support (AB services)

Together, we want children to attend school in their own neighborhood or district.

Since 2020, it has been possible for elementary schools to bring in expertise from special elementary or special education aimed at strengthening and deepening parts of existing basic support. Examples of these pathways are:

  • Strengthening a through-line in the area of behavior or “learning to learn.
  • Strengthening basic support in the areas of didactics and cognition;
  • Being able to deploy own curricula from start to end of elementary school;
  • Strengthening and deepening the already existing support structure.

SPPOH facilitates AB services that provide such pathway guidance at the school (developmental) level. This means that these costs are reimbursed to the participating school. We will continue to explore with the S(B)O schools in what (other) ways we can further deploy expertise sharing from SBO and SO.

The currently participating AB services at the school development level -from the facilitation from SPPOH- are: De Loodsboot (De Strandwacht), Aventurijn (Het Avontuur), De Bonte Vlinder, De Elsenburgschool, the P.H. Schreuderschool, Het Mozaïek, De Rehobothschool and IVIO.
